BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU & KICKBOXING IN LOUGHREA
Beginner-friendly martial arts classes for adults and kids.
Private Training & Small Groups
Get the coach’s full attention.
Private training is for the things that can be difficult to solve in a busy class: learning the basics without feeling rushed, getting unstuck on one technique, preparing for competition, or training at a time and pace that suits you. Book Rowan or Josh one-to-one, split a session with a training partner, or bring a small group of your own. The session starts with what you want to work on, not a standard class plan.

Sometimes you need time to stop and work something out
Group classes are where you build consistency, skills and good training partners. Private coaching is not meant to replace them. It is useful when you need to slow things down, ask questions and stay with one problem until it starts to click. Private training can help if you: - want a calm introduction before attending your first group class;
- need focused help with a particular technique or problem;
- are preparing for a competition;
- want to build confidence, fitness or striking skills at your own pace;
- cannot regularly make the class timetable;
- want to train alongside a partner, friend or family member.
You do not need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal. Tell us what is bringing you in and we will help you figure out the rest.

One-to-one coaching
Bring the problem. We will work through it.
A private session gives you room to ask questions and work on details that are easy to miss when a coach is looking after a full room.
You may know exactly what you want to fix, or you may only know that something is not working. Your coach will look at where you are now and build the session from there.
Private coaching is available in:
- Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grappling;
- Kickboxing/K1;
- striking technique and pad work;
- fitness-focused personal training;
- competition preparation.
Sessions may be booked individually or as a package, depending on your goal and coach availability.

Train with a partner
Private does not have to mean training alone.
Book with your partner, a friend or a teammate. You still get focused coaching, with someone familiar to drill and practise alongside.
It is a good option for two beginners who want to start together, existing members working on the same area, or anyone who finds it easier to stay consistent with a training partner.

Small private groups
Bring your own people.
You do not have to join a public class to try martial arts together. Bring a group of friends, family members or teammates and have the coach and training space to yourselves.
We can create a beginner-friendly introduction, a fitness session or more technical training for people who already have experience. We adjust the pace and content to the group instead of pushing everyone through the same class plan.
Private group options include:
- an introduction to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or grappling;
- an introduction to Kickboxing/K1;
- pad work and fitness training;
- practical self-defence;
- focused training for an existing martial arts or sports team;
- a one-off session or short private course.
Group sessions are quoted individually based on the number of participants, session length and the type of training requested.
